Mission Statement:

Together, we can make a difference.

Together, we can raise money to support the education of a greater number of children in South Africa's townships. 

​

Currently, less than one-half of the children who enroll in grade one will make it to grade 12. Only 28% of individuals by age 20 will have completed high school. 

​

Race and poverty remain closely intertwined, as a black person in South Africa is 6 times more likely to grow up in poverty than a white person. Furthermore, poverty often results in a lack of educational resources, leading to an inability to access an equitable education.

Funding will help provide necessary educational tools and resources to under-privileged children within South Africa's townships. These resources will help support children's school studies and also help to teach them about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The money will be given directly to GVI (Global Vision International), a non-profit with bases in Cape Town and Limpopo, South Africa.
