Kunye translates to “together” in Xhosa, the main language spoken in the Zola township of Gordon's Bay. Our mission statement, “Together, We Can Make a Difference,” was the inspiration for the art and design of our logo. The Protea flower in the logo symbolizes diversity, courage, and change.

 
South Africa adopted the King Protea as its national flower to represent change and transformation across cultures, and the Protea flower in our logo is meant to reflect this value. The interlocked hands of the design emphasize the idea of ‘togetherness’ and the need for all cultures to come together and show love for one another.
